The XI20-3 has been specially built to slot in-between the XT15-3 (which is an excellent very strong commercial carp pole) and the XP35-3 (which, with a rating of 18 elastic, is still very much a competition silverfish pole, even though it can handle carp when required). The XI20-3 pole is rated to 20 elastic and is the perfect competition all-rounder. It combines good strength with rigidity and balance. The price jump between the XT15-3 and the XP35-3 is also quite a big difference, so the price of this XI20-3 sits nicely between the two, making it accessible to many anglers. It is built with many of the features you would see on the higher priced models and has the new Maximus Wrap joints. All kits have Depth-Line markers to allow precise fishing in the main 2-3ft depth zone. The Max22 Karp 2-Kits included are slightly longer than the new 'Ultra-Control' kits you get with the higher priced models and they are ideal for bigger carp, but if you wish to buy Ultra-Control kits additionally then they are compatible. In fact, the real beauty of the Reactacore range is that all the sections and kits are backwards compatible with the previous Shock-Core and Nano-Core ranges
